Changing Jobs within the same Company(department)

Hello,

I might be changing jobs in the same company, within the same department (Finance/Accounting department). Do i still need to get my TN renewed for this job? If i land the job, i would be literally moving 5 cubicles over. I'm 11 months into my current TN, and have 2.1 years left on it.

Your original TN was granted based on the TASKS you would be performing, and your credentials, not the job title.
If the same TASKS (ie. fall under the same TN category) are being performed then you do not need to change your TN. At renewal time, simply provide an updated letter with your position at that time.
