Changing job after more than 6 months in 485, any issues?

Hi,
I am thinking about changing job. I am EB-2 and
have been in 485 stage for over 6 months.

1. are there any changes in 485 portability, that is, can I change job without losing
the green card application?

2. What do I need to do for my application, if any? Should I
inform INS?

3. Are there any implication such as application processing
delay?

4. Did anyone have bad experience when changing job in 485 stage?

5. Do I need current I-94? I read it somewhere that there
could be implications if I-94 is not current.

Thank you very much,

js chen...you should be ok..you are not required to inform the INS about your change..though you can which may delay the 485 process...now it's just a question of waiting...keeping your fingers crossed

How about this scenario: Suppose you do not inform INS and you move to the new place. When everything is approved by INS, they will send approval to your old address, risking you not getting the document. I guess informing INS is the only way. I will be interested in hearing different/opposing opinions!

--- You are safe as your I-485 has been pending with INS more than 180 days, you can join new employer by EAD or H1b transfer, new job should have same skills that were filed for you on LC by old employer and new employer should pay you the minimum wage according to LC
2. What do I need to do for my application, if any? Should I
inform INS?
---Better send the employer change/Intent change and AC21 letter to INS and if you are moving update the new address with INS so that you can receive your approval at your address or if INS sends any RFE you can respond back
3. Are there any implication such as application processing
delay?
-- NO
4. Did anyone have bad experience when changing job in 485 stage?
I don’t know
5. Do I need current I-94? I read it somewhere that there

---Your status is AOS pending
Before leaving the employer better to have I-485 filling receipt and if possible LC copy because you can match the Skills and your Lawyer can write the Employer letter and match the skills if you have copy of LC
