Changing Employer

My labhor certification was filed on April 2, 2002

My 6 yr period on H1B expires on March 10, 2005.

I know I am eligible for 7th year extension but Is it possible to change employer (if I get a new job) at this point or I am stuck with my current employer until GC is approved?

----Yes, but the employer who filed LC will not file I-140 and I-485 for you. if you change you have to start from New LC with new employer
or
I am stuck with my current employer until GC is approved?
----- better be with them till they file I-140 and I-485 and change after I-140 is APPROVED and I-485 pending more than 180 days.
** you can file your 7th year H1 extension Any time beore I-94 expires or 6 months advance of I-94 expiry.
