Changing employer - trying for a second labor, ead, ap, etc

I am sure my situation is not unique so I am hoping for some feedback from this collective group...:)

Current situation :
Feb 12 2004 : Filed for EAD, AP, 140 and 485
April 2004 : Rec'd EAD , AP
As of today : 140 and 485 are pending

Due to lucrative opportunities, I am thinking of switching employers.

Question :
1 - If my current employer agrees not to withdraw my 140 application, can I switch employers after 180 days of submitting the application without any damage to my GC application ?
2 - I am not clear at what time does my employer loose the right to withdraw the 140 application - is it after 180 days of submitting the application of after 140 has been approved ?
3 - While I am aware that another labor can be filed for me by my new employer, can he ALSO submit applications for EAD, AP, 140 and 485 - while my first application is still underway ? In other words, can I start a second GC application process through my new employer ?

Would appreciate your valuble feedback...

cheers!!

you can file only LC and 140 not 485. 485 can only be applied from one employer.....

Hi, I am currently changing jobs too..My first comany did concurrent filing 10/03 and my I140 and EAD had both been approved by June. I am hoping I-485 will get approved by the end of this year...Am I right to assume that

1. my new employer would be able to apply 2nd EAD for me if needed?
2. my new job title is different from my previous job, although the job description still overlap (not exact the same though), will this be a problem in future applications (i'd assume 2nd EAD would be the only one hopefully)

Thanks in advance!
