Changing employer on 8th year extension

I am currently on my 8th year extension. My current Visa expires on Aug 2006. My LC is pending as of Jul 2003.
Is there any way I can change my employer now.

did you mean to say company A shouldn't withdraw your labor after joining company B? Is there any USCIS memo (link) you can point to?

I have a consultant who is on 7th year (company A has his own labor older than 365 days) and now he wants to join company B. how can he acquire 8th year extension based on company A's his own labor while he works for company B? I thought in order for one to apply 1 year extension(s), person MUST have to be with the company where his/her labor belongs to? Post official USCIS memo or any links.
