Changing address question

Hi, my I-140 has just been approved and I am about to start the I-485 process. I plan to move to another city and my boss kindly allows me to work at home and telecommute, my job duty and the department location are not changed. In short, anything remains the same except my home address.

Now my lawyer says I have to "live within the vicinity of the I-140 site and are working on-site at that location." Is this true? I understand I can\'t change the job location but in my case I am not changing my job location, my office is still the same. Is telecommuting forbidden by law? Does the home address in I-485 has to be the same as the one in I-140?

I\'d like to ask what options do I have here, is my lawyer being unreasonable? Can I change the lawyer and ask them to hand over my I-140 approval to a new lawyer?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I used a P.O. Box as address. My attorney asked why, I said I would move within 6 months. no problem at all..
