I'm EB-2 from the “current visa” country.
I-140/I-485 filed concurrently in Feb 06 to NSC
I-140 was approved in May 2006
I-485 is still pending since Feb 06
Changed jobs in Sep 06 and my LUD changed right after the NSC was informed by my attorney.

In September 06, I have changed jobs (after 180 days) and immediately informed NSC about it. If I understood the PD table explanation correctly, they moved me to the back of the line when I switched the jobs. I am OK with. However, somebody told me that the reason that my I-485 is pending for 14 months because of the FBI name check.
Question: Has anybody else on this forum experienced the same issue, e.g. moving 6 month back when changing jobs?

Thanks!

Your PD is current, your application is out of processing time - have you ever called USCIS and ask the status of your case?
Job change could not move you to the end of query.

I did the infopass...

And the immigration officer told me that there are might be two reasons why my AOS is delayed:
1) changing employers
2) AOS from H-1B and he mentioned that the former H-1Bs are scrutinized by all kinds of agencies doing background checks (because of Sep 11th)

It sounds like name check black hole:(

When you do AC21, your PD is not re-set or you are not going back of line!!

When you do AC21, your PD is not re-set or you are not going back of line!! You retains your PD though you move from Employer A to Employer B
