Changed in marital Status after getting Landing Papers

Hi,
I got married after getting my landing papers. Immigrant visa has an expiration date of Jan 2005.

I have informed the CIC about my changed status, but have not heard from them so far (I faxed them thin info a month ago).

As there is less than 2 months left before my immigrant visa expires, can anybody let me know what options does I have?

Do CIC extend my immigrant visa so that I can take my wife along with me?

Anybody who has gone thru this process, please help.

havent been in your situation, but I suspect they may make you and your wife re-submit the entire application - dont know if this is true or not. I know if you have a baby born then thats the procedure they follow. good luck.
