Change to expedited Petion - I-730

Hi,

I need to know. Can I ask NSC to change my petition I-730 (pertaining to my son derivative status) to expedited process due to the facts:-

1) I is out of processing date by 6 months.
2) I am suffering loss due to his losing job as his OPT work auth expired.
3) Suffering financialy as I am paying International tuition fee for his studies.

Besides the above can some one help me how to ask his college to charge as resident fee as his petition is pending.Weare maintaining his status as F-1. Do we realy have to maintain F-1 status or there is any other alternative available to us?

I hope some expert will respond.

You could try to ask congressman for help to expedite the case.

Based on my knowledge, there is no such thing as international tuition, if you establish residence in a state, then your son is eligible to pay in-state tuition no matter what his immigration status is. If you are not a residence of that state, even US citizen has to pay out-of-state tuition.
