change of the sponsor

Hi

I am facing a small problem, one of my family friend was suppose to become my sponsor but last minute he changed his mind and now his parents are going to become my sponsor and send the forms.
Do you think that might create any problem?
because in the first form i mentioned his name and now his parents are going to be my sponsor.
 
It is not advisable to make any change at this critical time , I have a friend who is visa was delayed because of the same situation but fortunately his interview was early , so try your best to convince him not to change his mind.

the consulate doesn't know who was going to sponsor you. You will bring that info to the interview. DSP-122 and DS-230 do not ask who your sponsor is going to be. For DV you don't even need a sponsor most of the time - it's not like family immigration.
