I was told that I can take the result decision of my asylum application on September 23(I already had the interview). I really hope that everything will be good, but I would like to prepare for different cases. I think that I will not be sent to immigration court, because I have legal status. But I will not be able to appeal to court. I have B2 status till September 30. I read in rules for IO that asylum applicant can make change of status when case on consideration. How I can prepare if IO will not approve the application? I know that IO can request additional evidences. Is it making sense to try to change the B2 status?
