Change of LUD on H1B status after Green Card

Hello,
I got an email today from CRIS saying that 'Current Status: Case reopened or reconsidered based on USCIS determination, and the case is now pending'. for my H1B, which was approved 2 yrs ago.
My green card was recently mailed to me, and I filed new I-9 form. So, is it that the H1b is canceled by my employer (as no longer on it) and hence the update?
Any thoughts?

The I-9 is not sent to USCIS and the two events are probably not related. The I-9 is just filed in the employer's HR office, nothing more.

UNLESS -
1- USCIS recently did an audit of your workplace, but you would probably have heard about agents on the premises.
2- Your employer participates in the E-Verify program, in which case there may be some electronic connection between your HR office and USCIS (I really don't know about that through).

Whatever the case, it shouldn't be anything to worry about at all.

Thanks jk0274.
I checked with HR today and, what they have is sending in the cancellation notice of H1B along with my green card copy to USCIS. Even they are not aware of anything like this notice, but think that cancellation of H1B could have triggered this email from CRIS. Suggested to keep an eye on it.
