Change of job during NIW 5 years

Hi I had a job change during the 5 years of NIW. I filed a new/amended i 140 for the new job. The priority date on the approved newer i 140 is different from the original approved i 140.
Any body has any experience in that?
Does this mean that the priority date has changed?
If it has changed what can be done to remind USCIS that that this was just an addendum/amendment to the previously approved i 140?

The priority date will not change and you keep the old one. You do not have to do any thing becaue in your new application you mentioned that and you included a copy of your old I-140 notice with your A# and all that is in file with the USCIS.

Did u file I-140 amendment yourself or via attorney?
What documents did you include in the application?
Can u post the cover letter if u have it handy?
