Change of Employer while waiting for 485 Approval

Hello Immigration Gurus:

I am presently working for the company 'A' who sponsered my GC. I am still on Job. I have got a new job now in Company 'B'. Can I go to new job. My Receipt Date for 485 is 28th Dec. 2001. I am expecting my GC in a another two months.

But Can I do this? If so, what care should I need to take to avoid complications?

Make sure that the new job description/position is similar the one in your Labour applied thru your previous company.

In case u get an RFE you should be able to get a letter from the new employee which states that you are handling similar responsibilities

the salary in the new job should be greater than the current salary
