What are all the things one need to follow to change the current employer?

Do we really need to inform INS?

I heared that the future Job title and Job description should match with the current one. At what stage CIS will verify our job title and description?

Can we work C2C (Corporate to Corporate) with another company instead of working on W2?

1. Not required to inform INS by law, only a recomdation by INS.
2. Well its up to them to ask for it anytime, but typically just before ur I485 approval.
3. (I beleive, not sure though ) You have to be on W2 of a company that is not owned by you. So C2C is only possible when you have no ownership of any of the corporations.

Depends on whether your employer will try to revoke I140 after you leave . There are ppl who got their I485 approved after using AC21 even though they didn't inform the employer. But in all these case employer didn't try to revoke the I140.

If you think he will try to revoke I140 (even though approved) then it is important that you inform CIS about the job change. Check the Ac21 forum for letters and Documents.

They may or they may not . If they do then RFE is issued for EVL once they touch the file. At what stage, i think when they pull your file to adjucate.

When will they do that? come on if i knew the answer then i wouldn't be doing what i am doing for living.

The job title and Job descripton have to be similar or same . They usually take broad meaning for similar. I think the job description in EVL is important.

You can do C2C but you need to have W2. Remember yours is Employment based GC so having W2 is always the best. You can have Corp under your wife or your friend who has GC etc...They are multiple options for this but work under W2 always untill you get your GC.

As you said my current employer can try to revoke the 140 even after its
approval and passed 180 days. Would it make a black mark on my 485 if my
current employer try to revoke 140?

How many employers could one person change during this stage?
I guess therotically no limit. In reality what will happen if I happen
to change more than one employer?

Nope there won't be any Black mark on your I485 as far as i know. If your employer tries to revoke and if you didn't inform CIS then they will issue Notice of intent to deny for which you have to respond with proper documentation.

If you have informed CIS then nothing to worry about . Read the Ac21 memos from CIS . they are pretty self explanatory..

Well in reality there is no law which states that you can change only 1or 2 employers ...ppl have changed employement twice and so on ..

This is very hypothetical question. Can only answer when your actually in that situation. better ask lawyer ( Jharkandi is a good lawyer and he is free as far as i know :D) Just kidding wrt JK .

I saw your reply on 140 revoking scenario and it was helpful . But I do have a question for you ,

1.Can the Employer actually will revoke ? What I mean is do you know of any cases that you have seen before where the employer has revoked the 140 OR is it your view what you think the INS might do ?

2. Can you please point me to the exact thread ( if you can spot it )/
