Hi,

Could you please ( experts like Nelsona) throw some light in the below. I am a Canadian citizen working on TN.
Yesterday I did change of my employer at Land border Laredo, TX . Successfully changed with 3 years. I-94 is good with another 3 years as well.
My questions are

1. No employer name on the stamp ( just only written as TN). Is that normal?
2. We paid 24 dollars ( 6 dollars each) as opposed to first TN 56 dollars.
3. How to know employer name against to i-94?

Thanks a lot and appreciated your support.

1. Yes. The stamp means nothing
2. Their loss. You have TN
3. CBP has your documentation, and you have the I-94. Give a copy of I-94 to your employer.

Thanks a lot Nelsona. Appreciated.
Right now, I am not legal to work for my company A. Tried with CBP to keep two ( to give notice) but they were not in a mood therefore did not pressurize much.
However, as per employment agreement I have to give 2 weeks notice.
Does it bind legal to give notice.

You cannot work illegally, and your original sponsor cannot force you to do something illegal. So, even if this was in your "agreement", it is not enforceable. They can of course penalize you, if the agreement stipulates a penalty.

Thanks a lot Nelsona. Much appreciated.
Just one more question, when I check the travel history on I 94 there is no departure recrod but only arrival record.
Is that something normal when you make a u turn or flagpolling at POE.

TN I-94s are multiple entry (and this multiple, unlisted departures). Print your I-94 and keep it with your passport. There is no need to look up I-94s after that.
