Hello All,

How soon BCIS must be informed about the change of address? What is a good method of informing BCIS?

Thank You,

My experience...

First send AR11 to Kentucky
Second Send FAX
Third Send official letter to Local INS with attn:address change...
Fourth (this is new) call 1-800- and select address change option. I did not use this but they put this option.

I did three of these procedure and got second FP notice delivered to my new home address.
Al least I knew that they changed my address.
.....

Hi texasworker,

Did You inform BCIS yourself or did u get it done through your lawyer? Do you think it delayed your case in anyway?

I am also in the same ship as you and gc awaiter

Thanks

I did it by myself.
My lawyer is doing nothing these days after filing 485. All efforts are done by myself.
I sent AR11, sent FAX and letter to TSC.
Tried to make a call but failed. I got first FP notice 4/2003 and changed address 5-2003.
On 6-2003 I got 2nd FP notice for myself and my wife but my son did not.
Anyway cahnge of address mifgt help you. At least they will open your file to change it. If you are lucky then you will get FP notice or approval...

Thank you texasworker for your reply. Can you please tell me the fax # and the phone # where i can send fax and call to inform change of address?
