Hi,
Can anyone let me know where I can find the AR-11 forms to be filled up for the Change of Address. Also, I would like to know whether seperate forms needs to be filled up(2 forms, one for self and one for spouse) and which address does it need to be sent?

I saw somewhere in the website, that it needs to be sent to Kentucky address, is it true or does it need to be sent to Vermont Service Center?

How long does it take for them to update the change of address once they receive it?

I-9 form for address change ?????

Its actually AR-11 form. check out USCIS.Gov and look for Online forms on the right most column.
fill it out and send it to London (KY) address within 10 days of move, send it via certified mail. One form for each family member.

Also call CIS cust servise to update your new address for the pending applications asap, keep A# & reciept #s handy when call them. Or fax VSC a letter with all your details and new address.

Sorry its AR-11 Forms. thanks for your help.. So, I need to send it to London, KY address only and send a fax to Vermont?

Also, looking at the form, I have the following questions:

What should I fill for this question?

1. I am in the US, Visitor, PR, Student or Other?? I am working on H1B but have an EAD.

2. If I entered into US sometime back, but I still went to Canada and entered into US, and one time I have got a H1B new visa stamp in my passport in Canada, and do I need to enter that time of entry into US for (Port of Entry into US & Date of Entry into US questions) or my initial entry into US from India?

3. What should I enter for "Copy Number from Alien Card", is it the A number from EAD card?

Yep
Please note that sending AR-11 is a must and is required by the law but it is not going to effect pending apps, for that you need to contact VSC or CIS cust service to update the address.

I recently filled Ar 11 and it was accepted by bscis.

Q 1. You should write I-485 pending (AOS)

Q 2. Write your last entry into US.

Q 3. Your alien # is on your I-485 reciept or may be on EAD.

if you are on H1B (havent used EAD) then you can enter H1B.

Two months ago I also sent that form and I mentioned H1B & I-485 pending

I was in the similar situation (visited Canada, with same I-94), so I mentioned that as my last entry into US (with date of entry) not the one from my home country happened 2 years ago.

on AR-11 for there is a big box in top right area for A#, its for alien # from your I-485 reciept (or from EAD)

I dont remember if there is any place for I-94 # on AR11
 
Thankyou all, but one question is still not clear??

If I got a H1B stamp on my Passport in Canada in 2000, then when I enter into US, at the Port of Entry in Canada/US Border, they would stamp on my passport, since it would be a new H1B's I-94 number, do I need to enter that date, or do I need to enter the date when I arrived in 1998?

Also, I understand that when you travel to Canada on road/air, they normally dont take your I-94, but in my case since it was a brand new visa stamp, they entered the date on my arrival into the port of entry into US(ie., Year 2000)?

So, guys let me know as which date I need to mention on the AR-11 form.

Dont worry too much dude, just enter last entry date & POE.
After all, AR-11's main purpose is to update address.
 
Is AR-11 form ONLY need to be sent or any other documents to the London, KY address.

Also, do we need to send a copy to Vermont also?
 
nothing to London ,KY except for the Ar-11 (separate one for each one of the family) make sure you do it using certified mail (reason is records are kept at the post office for couple of years) and save the receipt..

send a copy to CIS along with any copies of receipts for pending applications like I485 Make sure you write Change of address -AR 11 on the envolpe...

also call the CS No and update them ..
 
Change of address after 140 approval

Hi,

I recently moved to a new apartment and sent AR11 for me and my wife, my EAD & 140 is approved last month, when I call BCIS do I need to change the address for 485 or EAD & 140 also. Please advise.

What number do I need to call to inform address change.

I appreciate your help

Send your AR11 (one for you and one for your wife) to the London, KY address. Once they receive it, then call National Customer Service Number and request them for a change.. You need to change the address with BCIS, or else your mails wouldnt get forwarded to your new address..

Call 1800-375-5283 and you just need to give A# on your EAD Card and they need to change only for the pending cases(So, in your case only 485)...
