My company has filed I 140/I 485 on December 2003.

I have to change the address to my new address in other state.

Does this affect processing any way?

Can I ask my USCIS to change address or only my company attorney allowed ?

If I can do it then how should proceed further? Do I have to write separately for each application like I 140 and I 485.

Pl note I have not yet received Finger print notice. Does this going to affect any way by change of address.

Call cust service asap to have them update your new address for all pending cases, keep your A#, all reciept #, ND & RD handy when you call.
Download form AR11 from USCIS.GOV fill it out and mail it to London,KY address via certified mail. Thats it. :)

Also, in my case, shortly after phoning in to change our address, they sent us several AR-11's in the mail (this was prior to receiving the actual address change confirmation from the VSC which took several weeks longer).

And, if you are changing the address for a spouse (or I guess anyone > 18 years old?) they may ask to speak with that person so have them handy (they insisted on speaking with my wife both times I called to change our address).

140 - is employer petition- so only they can make address change- your address change should not need 140 address change. For 485 you can.

thats right, same also happened in my case, they talk to my wife ask her name & dob then I continued. Few weeks later they sent confirmation for my wife not for me. The also sent us AR11 form twice even though we had already sent AR11 to London, Ky office around the same time we called VSC. :)

Infact address related changes has nothing to do with I140 as it is employer based and approval goes to attorney or to your employer.

for both

Do I have to send seprate AR 11 for both(my wife and me) . Or only my since I am primary on application
