Change of Address

I was not aware that in the event of changing address that within 10 days of moving I had to fill in AR-11.

My situation is this that I had moved about a year ago just over a mile from my previous address but over the border into another town. I notified the post office of the change and expected my mail to be forwarded to me. I just sent AR-11 in a couple of weeks ago and tried calling the service center to change the address but haven't gotten through.

Will this impact my 485 application? My EAD eas approved in August, 2003 and I still haven't received it.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

go to USCIS main site and read "How Do I"

file the AR11 also update NCSE 1-800-375-5283 and inform all your pending petitions/applications reciept# and your A# also write to service centre
** , check the online BCIS EAD status,It seems your EAD was returned

To ensure that all correspondence from CIS is delivered to you, you need to persever and call the 800 number.
Although it is required by law to submitt the AR-11 form, this will not get your address updated at the service center.
