Hey everyone,
I have a temporary gc through my wife. We moved and I changed the address for the case online . When should I receive the letter stating that the uscis actually changed it?

thanks!

Do you have a pending immigration case, such as I-751? If not, they won't send anything to acknowledge the address change, and the address change filing was unnecessary (except for AR-11 which is required and is independent of any specific immigration case).

If you submitted the address change online, you should have been given confirmation (I don't remember how, but maybe via email, or just a confirmation page on the website, which you should have saved). Anyway, since nothing is pending, don't worry about it. Just use your new address for your next application and you'll be set.
