I sent mine along with my wife and they updated both of ours; verified by seeing the LUDs.

you mean you sent your AR-11 form along with your wife's AR-11 form in SAME envelope (one envelope)?

My spouse and I are U.S. permanent residents. We bought a new house so we want to send the forms for me and my spouse today to inform USCIS of our new address. Please advise us with a question above.

Thanks.

USGC485,
Yes, You can mail both forms in one envelope for yours and your wife's. You can tear off the instructions part..!!

Yes, I meant I sent AR-11 for myself and my wife togeather in a single envelop.

SafeNH,

Did you send to PO box or over night address?

Can i send by FEDEX to the over night address mentioned. Is there any option in USPS over night or speed post?

Pelase advise

Does AR11 results in LUD??

I though these 2 are separate system. AR11 has nothing to do with 485 . We can keep the same address for 485 and file AR11 as we move around.

Whenever an address change happens, this is what I would do:
1. Send separate AR-11 forms as two separate certified mails (one for me and other for spouse). Doing that enables to have the proof that the AR-11 was submitted for both of us.

But, remember that AR-11 is independent of your applications at CIS. So, make sure you do the following also.

2. Call up NSC and inform about the address change.
3. Call up NSC again in 20 days or so and verify the address change ("YES!! I do not trust USCIS" :D ).
4. See if you get the address change confirmation from CIS in mail (regular mail) in a month's time. If not, repeat from step 2.

Again, My question is:

Can I use Priority/express mail in USPS and send to over night address mentioned in the form?

yes u can. there is separate address for such mails
