Hi ALL,

a simple one, I moved to a new house last month and called national service center and asked them to change my address on pending applications, I also sent AR-11.

Lady told me that your address has been changed and you will be sent a confirmation letter to your new address.

It has been 6 weeks and I have not recv any letter, does this mean that she did not change the address?

has any one else faced some issue? shall i call them again.

plz share your views

thx

i am in same situation. they dont verify the address. what they do is chnge the address once again.if u ask them on phone what current address u have of me, they r unable to tell u. my ead is approved since may 24 and i havenot recieved it yet.

this is such a messed up system, will try and call them again, calling them itself is a big crap, wait for 45 mins listen there lausing music and then a sound like 2000 fighter jets are flying on ur head :(

thx friends

I had same situation and I followed same procedure..sent AR-11 and called customer service but was not changed but then when my lower get REF about EAD I told him to reply with Address change request on all pending application for me and my wife...after INS get REF reply they changed immediately and I got letter at home about change of address from INS.

Hi All,
I have a question/concern regarding :"change of address", we have moved to a new place and during this process our EAD/AP documents were sent to
the old address and it was too late by the time we informed USCIS of our address change.
When I called them, they have said that it will take aound 30 days for them to have it "re-delivered" and its almost 2 weeks now. My question is..is this the info to wait 30 days is correct? Or there is any other procedure to follow ?

Thanks,
Vjy

Yes recently we called them to make a status inquiry, but then they changed my employer address too along with inquiry. My employer did not get any confirmation letter regarding change of address.

Ultimately we are the victims of this system

?

you will see your LUD changed once new address is updated.

I got letter from USCIS about address change in 25 days.

If it is more that 6 weeks and you have not received the letter and you LUD is not changed too then call them again and have them change it.

they dont change your address they just put a request for address change and it is up to the officer who changes the address.
