Change of Address Form

Hi Friends,

My wife is a doctor. She recently accepted a residency in Michigan (she has an EAD). We have our 485 cases pending at TSC since 07/2001. I am the principal applicant and she is the dependent. I am based in Arkansas. She just moved to Michigan last week to begin the residency. My question is: Does she have to file form AR 11 (change of address form)? Can she leave the address as what it is right now since I am the principal immigrant?

I guess my concern right now is that TSC might accidentally transfer her case to NSC without realizing that we applied together and that I am the principal applicant. As you all know, it does not take a genius to confuse TSC. They already lost 2 receipt notices of ours in the last 4 years.

As always, I'd really appreciate any input on this matter.

RD: 07/2001
ND: 08/2001
FP: 12/2002
On 3rd EAD and 2nd AP
Approval: ????

She can have your address as permanent address. No problems. Unless you volunteer the address change info, not even a genius can figure out that an applicant has moved out of jurisdiction:)

Hi Jaxen,

Thanks for your reply. My lawyer had pretty much said the same thing. I feel better now that I've heard it from another source.
Good Luck.
