change of address followed by change of status

What is the time taken for CHANGE OF ADDRESS in the system for USCIS?
i moved yesterday from michigan(nebraska center) to connecticut(vermont center) and i have to apply for the change of status. I sent the change of address form to nebraska center today. I want to know is it fine for me to send out the change of status form to vermont center immediately. Is there a time lag required for me to send this Change of status form to vermont center.

well, F-1 students usually change their addresses through SEVIS. You are still required to send AR-11 form, but don't expect any receipts. I didn't get any.
