Change of Address after I-551 Stamping

Hello folks,

Can you please share your experience of changing address after I-551 stamping ?
What mechanism is to be used to inform address change (other than address change) ?

Yet to receive the approval notice.

You are required by law to file AR-11 even after you get GC. There are no other steps required.

Only AR-11?

You should be able to call NSC and let them know of the new address on the plastic card application? I mean the plastic card application must have some number, LIN #, etc etc, right? Or you can use your A# I guess... Gurus any personal experience???
 
AR11 is reneral notification..

I beleive AR11 is general notification of address change..which is mandatory.

My question is: What mechanism is to be used to notify the service center or
what ever division that processes the plastic card ? Is there any way I can track the status of plastic card processing ?

Thanks..But this is bad news.

Looks like after GC approval just a phone update of address change is not enough. Life was probably better befor gc approval!
