All,

I filed my I-140 and I-765 concurrently about 2 .5 months back. I need to change my address as I have to move to a new apartment.

Do I need to inform INS about my move? IF yes, how do I do that and how much time it takes. Will it delay the process in any way?

Thank You,

You have to inform INS within 10days of your move to new address. You have use the form AR-11 (see link below) and send them by certified mail so that you will have proof.

http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/ar-11.htm

This will not delay your process unless INS has already mailed EAD card to your old address and it was returned to INS as undeliverable.

If you don't receive your EAD card after 14 days of their mailing, better you call them phone and inform about your new address.
