change marriage status after original entry until submission

hi guys
after entering my original application, my marriage status has been change. I got divorced from my ex-spouse, and again I got married to another woman. Fortunately I informed I am selected for dv 2022. It was easy for me to add as my new accompany to ds 260 forms, but I cannot inactivate my ex-wife application and my daughter (who lives with her mother and not willing to follow me). Except this, our ds 260 form has been filled out successfully, but those above conditions are "incomplete" and "not starting" yet. WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT MY VISA REQUISITION GET IN PROCESS?

You need to contact kcc, send them an email following the instructions in your selection letter. Inform them of the divorce and that your daughter will not come with, and ask them to remove both those from the case. I am not sure if they will need to see a divorce certificate (you’d need it anyway for the civil documents) but you may want to attach it just in case to avoid unnecessary delays.

I’m not quite sure KCC will indeed remove the DS260 forms for your ex-wife and daughter (I’m yet to come across a report of where they actually removed the DS260 for someone who was originally listed on the eDV entry and is not subsequently processing with the main selectee). However, I go agree you need to write and inform KCC of your change in circumstances and why those two are no longer processing with you. I also recommend you include both the divorce certificate and your new marriage certificate with the email in this case. Like Susie already stated, this is to enable KCC continue processing your DS260 and for them to not assuming or treat your form(s) as incomplete.

When I did my original application I was still technically married, separated but not "legally"- so my application was submitted as married. By the time my interview came around my divorce was finalized so I had my divorce decree with me.
At no stage did KCC ever indicate they would remove my ex husband from my DS260, I did call them at the beginning but they just said to not fill in his DS-260 - he was just simply not processed with me.
Additionally I had two children listed on my application, one aged out during the process and the other did not wish to come with me so neither of those had completed DS-260s either
At no point during my interview was I ever asked about my ex husband or children

This was a grateful assistance for me. Thanks a million time.

Hello there
I have a question: My wife and our 2 daughters aged 22 and 18 arrived through the 2016 DV Lottery. My wife and I have both been for our Biometrics and are waiting for the test date, we will do the kids at a later date here’s the problem I want to get a divorce from her she is the selected DV lottery(selectee) will this have any impact on the status or at least will a divorce stop me from completing the rest of the process ie the test & ceremony?

thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question.

No impact - once you have your own green card it is entirely your case. Of course if you have divorced by the time of the interview you will need to update the details on the n400 at the interview, same as any other details that have changed since form submission.
