Change location after 140 approval,485 pending

Does anyone know if it's legally permitted if I change my location but still work for the same company/team after my 140 got approved but 485 pending over 180 days? does anyone know if there's any supporting document from USCIS I could show to my boss or attorney? Thanks alot in advance!

------------------- why you need to show to your boss or attorney? attorney should know about law/regulations.

thanks very much ginnu for your reply! my boss was told by the attorney once (before my 140/485 was filed) that i should remain in the same location where labor certificate was applied (job was applied/tested in that state), even more, he was told that i should remain in the same location even my GC is approved. is there such thing as what the attorney suggested? i'm caught in the middle of husband living in different state, job remain in the other while GC has been pending since 2007. boss is okaying me working from home in my husband's city, but he has concerns over what's been told...with my approved 140 and 485 over 180 days (pending since 2007), Ginnu, do you think i can change my location? what should i tell them to convince my case?

What your attorney told may be about LCA that was filed for H1 Or for LC that was filed for your GC process. If the LC was filed for particular location and Lawyer did not write “and unanticipated location” on your LC then he is correct in saying that GC is filed for employer X and work location Y. GC is for future job AFTER I-485 gets approved and LC, I-140 are filed for future job.
AC21 allow you to work anywhere in US if you are eligible for AC21. GC is for future job. Ask your company attorney why did he say that you can’t change the work location?
