change job to a sister company while 140 pending

I filed my 140 and 485 concurrently last August. I have my EAD and AP. Now I am going to change job to a sister company of my current company. This is a normal job transition. My old company will not revoke my case. Although they are under the same parent company, they have different payroll systems. They are different companies. My lawyer said I should transfer my H1. I can see the benefit, but at the same time I am afraid if I transfer my H1, I let USCIS know I no longer work for my green card sponsor. Does anyone have similar experience? Should I transfer my H1? I appreciate any answers.

You can transfer the H-1 ... as long as the nature of job remain similar you are covered under AC21 criteria.
