Change in Marital Status..Is it a big deal for EAD renewal

Hello All,

I have a change in marital status (married now) and I am on AOS using my EAD card. My wife will be joining me using FTJ process.

I need to file for my EAD renewal and What happens if I change the status to the married in the EAD renewal. Will that cause a problem? Or do I leave it as single for now as my wife is not in US right now.

Suggestions please.

What are you afraid of ? Nothing wrong in getting married, it's a normal human cycle for regeneration. You are not ADAM, that you ate the apple and now should be banished to Earth.

Just kidding! I don't think it will be a problem as long as you are stating it, and even if you don't there is no way to cross check.
