change in job after GC but derivative not approved

Hi All,

The primary applicant's (me) I-485 approved on June 18,2004. Received an RFE for derivative I-485 for "continuation of marriage"evidence. RFE was replied on 12 SEP 2004.

Now I have really got a good job offer. I am not sure how much risk is involved in changing the job now being only 3 months with my sponsoring employer after my I 485 approval. One more thing is my wife's I-485 is also not yet approved. The immigrationa paralegal is the onw who looks after all the case details for my wife is an employee of my sponsoring company. Can I get all the legal papers from her?

Appreciate all guru's response on this one.

There won't any effect on your wife's case for your job change. Secondly, she already got a RFE. So I don't think there will be any more RFE or interview. Her approval will be coming soon.

On the other hand, changing job too soon can cause problem at the time of naturalization. But if you get a really good offer which is lot better in term of salary and career growth, refusing that is also not a good idea - especially in this job market. So, use your judgment what to do.
