Change in Citizenship while on H1

I am a Hong Kong resident and am currently working in the US and hold an H1B visa stamp on my British National Overseas (BNO) passport. I just received notice from the British Consolate in Hong Kong that I have been granted British Citizenship. Do I need to transfer my H1B visa stamp currently on my BNO passport to my new British passport? If so, what is the procedure? The expiry date on my BNO passport is well into the future (~2019) and my H1 visa is valid till Sep 2012. Please advise.

---------------I don't think you need to Transfer Visa in New passport.once you get British passport you can show the Valid Visa in other passport. Next time you apply H1 extension then get the H1 Visa stamp in British passport. for more info you can talk to your company lawyer.

Would you mind telling me how you obtained you British Citizenship? I know in some cases, people are granted British Citizenship in addition to their BN(O) status, i.e. one can be both a British Citizen and a BN(O) at the same time. If that applies to you, then you don't have to worry about your visa.
