change from F1 visa to H1 B how long?

I am in my F1 visa currently doing my OPT, which will expire by June 30, 2003. I want to change to H1 B Visa as I want to work in my profession.
1. Will the H1 B visa take a long time for me to stay in the US legally??
2. Could I apply as a J1 Visa to stay in the US??
3. Could I apply in another program to stay as an F1 Status is that possible??
Could anyone tell me what would be a better option, I would really appreciate it.

You mean processing time? H1 or J1 depends on the company which does it, kind of opportunity you are eligible for. H visa also has a premium processing route which can get your H visa approved in 15 days time.
You can also get another F1 if you are eligible for it.
 
Thanks Jaxen for your reply. I was wondering how long would an H1 B visa take to process once I get a sponsor. I do want to stay in the US and right now I am doing my OPT and the company wont sponsor me and I am thinking of options?? Getting another F1 visa is more expensive way because I got to enroll in another program.
