Change Employer After GC

Hi all;
I have the following situation; pls reply.
Working with current employer one and half year. they sponsored my GC...I485 was filed on June 5 and got GC on July 20..it was very quick. I am working with the same client since I join this employer. Now, the client is offering me a good position full time. I don't have intension of leaving my current employer but I don't want to miss this opportunity. According to my contract I have give my employer 1 month notice. Do you guys think I leave the current employer with out any legal binding?

------------ Your GC was approved for the employer who filed your GC and give you permanent job offer letter with your I-485 filing and many lawyers advice to stick with that employer for 6 months after GC so that no problems at the time of citizenship.
