I am on H1B for an employer and working at a client. Now the client wants to pay me for my overtime. Is this OK ?

Salary on W2 & Overtime on 1099

Hi,

I'm on a H1B. Is it possible if my employer pays me the salary on a paycheck and issue a W2 (which is normal) and my overtime pay on a separate check under the same company and give me a 1099 ?

What About bonuses ? Can my employer give me a 1099 for a bonus ? Are there any ways other than a W2 for an employer to pay its H1B employee ?
