if you can get EB1-OR it will be great....6-8 months is not much of a wait..

so you have total of 8 publications and 15 citations.....but you have good amount of articles/publications talking about your work...

i would say yours is not a slam dunk case for EB1-EA......but wait....can you emphasize the importance of your work......thats the most important thing.....are you working on something for cancer or aids or flu or some other well known issue of USA??.....if so you can present your case as though you are going to bring a revolution and cure everyone in the next 5-7 years.....

thanks

hi techy:
thank you so much for your response. I worked in using polymers to enhance solubility of drugs treating cancer and cardiovascular diseases. so I can argue that this will result in better treatment options for millions of americans. Also, I can wait for 6/8 months but I am not sure whether my company will file under eb1 or eb2.

talk to your company HR people and get a general idea.......i am not sure why they will refuse to file for EB1 (except that in case it gets denied they think they will be under microscope in future)
