chances of L1 (Individual) after L1-B was rejected.

Hi,

I appeared for the visa interview at the chennai consulate in Dec 2007. i was not granted visa under section 221g . Now the company has applied for L1 individaul.
What are the chances that L1 individual will be approved.
Will the earlier rejection affect on current L1 Individual?

People whose L1B was rejected and then L1 Individual was processed please can u send me some tips on the same?

Can u suggest me some other link for some more inputs?

What is the ratio of people whose L1 individual is also rejected ?
 
Normally.... there are many queries on L visas. It needs to meet all the required qualifiers. If your case is fine.. you should get it through regular L1. You should check with your company attorny

Hi Folks,

Even my case is somewhat similar to the above - my L1B got rejected in Feb'07 and my company has filed L1B-Individual which is approved now. I want to know if will there be any issues as part of the Interview ? I mean are then any chances of rejection when i appear again at the consulate ?

Ideally things are easy at interview as its approved by INS. But your company credentials needs to be good
 
Help needed urgently for L1B denial under 221g case

Hello

In my case my L1B was denied under 22g saying that specialized knowledge not required.
Can any1 guide me whether I have to close this petition by mailing counsalate before applying for an L1 Individual or B1
Please provide some inputs as I there isnt any much help I recieved on this.
Awaiting an early response, please.

My L1 was filed by a company in USA who had week documentation. My L1 was rejected in sept 2006. then in feb 2007 reputed company from india filed my L1 and it got approved. in interview they did ask me abt the denial and i told them may b the documents provided by my previous company were not enuf. I got my vsa on tht day and currently i m in USA.
