Chances of 485 Denial

I got laid off from my company on 4th Sep, I am working hard to get job ASAP but due to the tight market situation its not easy to find the job. I have completed my 6 months, and anticipating that INS will pick my case in DEC 2002, suppose till that time I am unable to find a job and INS issues RFE for current employemnt and pay stubs then what are the chances of 485 denial in that case if I am not able to produce employment letter and pay stubs. I am really frustrated please help me what to do.

The only thing I know for grounds for denial is a fraudulent application. Besides that, you can only be issued an RFE. So to make it simple, you need to find a job ASAP in case they issue and RFE for employment evidence.

December is whole 3 months away. You will be able to find a job by then. Do not get frustrated. Market is tight, but mostly for IT contractors.

Me too.In my case they cancelled my H1B too. I was happy before. I am trying to contact attorney from murthy company. I will post the outcome of it on monday.

I have some information about AC21. I collected them after somebody said to go to murthy.com and searched for AC21.

About the company: join in any small consulting company for time being. (it's just an idea)

I don't know what to do about the salary slips....

Let us see, some body will have an answer for this too...

I agree, that if they issue an RFE, then U can be in trouble...

I am sure, U should be able to get an job somewhere....

I clue....
It is easy for people with GC's to get an job...
So...U can tell a small company, that U would be able to get an job after UR GC...and he could give U a offer so that U can join him, once U have UR GC....

An future employemnt letter can be enough...

So that is the least U need...
I am sure, other people who have GC's and have started small companies..will be able to give U a letter...

BE BRAVE.......EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR THE GOOD...
