I called TSC this morning and was told that my wife\'s file is
being reviewed by an officier. The IIO then said it does not
mean anything. I said it typically take a few weeks for an officer
to make a decision. She said that is the case for simplier petition
types, but not for I-485. The officer may just check to see if
anything is missing.
Since I am the principle applicant, The IIO suggest I send a fax to the
officer who has my wife file, asking him/her to get my case too. The IIO
gave me the officer\'s number (#xx). According to her, they cannot
send a request to their supervisor to expedite a case, but we can do
it based on near FP expiration. Our FP will expire on 09/09/01.
