Case under special review???

Guys,

I need your opinions here. I called the 949# 3 times and all the IIOs I spoke to said that my case is under special review. When I ask them about the "Special Review" one of them basically said that since 9/11 BCIS picks some cases randomly to go under this special review program. She said that she could not disclosed to me what is special review.

I filed concurrently my I-140, 131, 765, and 485. All RDs are 01/06/2003. Still waiting for my 131 and 765.

Called again this morning and the IIO told me that 131, 765, and 485 are consolidated together and are with an officer. She said that it does not matter that 140 got approved, that it is 485 that matters for the 131 and 765 to be approved.

I will talk to my lawyer today regarding this matter but your opinions are highly appreciated.

defunk if your's is picked thru a random selection ... then oh well.

But I-140 does matter.

Earlier there were some threads about special review. And they got approved pretty fast..

I do not understand the special review thing. Is it good news or bad news???

Am I the only one that got picked into the this special review thing? If anybody else experience this, please share it with me

talk to my lawyer's assistance. she basically said that special review basically caused by the issuance of RFE for the 140. 140 got approved last april and she said that if within 2 weeks there is still no approval she will start the fax inquiry only for the 131. she also said that it is very highly unlikely that they look at my 485 case. so much for the good news...
