Case transferred to SF office

Hi all

My husband's and my case has been tranferred to SF office. We got the email with the above information from USCIS in the month november. Exactly on nov 8th, 2004.
Until now no mre information on that from the local office.
We are planning for a 17 day trip to India during the 1st week of february!
So, we are now worried about what might happen if the interview letter comes in our absence?
Any idea as to how long it takes for the San francisco office to send out an interview letter?

You don't have to worry even if you are planning a trip next year same time!!!!

they are not likely to process before 6-18 mo

they are not bothered about any laws or basic human deceny. they may or may not call you for an interview whenever they feel like.

average times are atleat 6 months but have reached 18 months,only god can predict the actions of these people.

pray everyday that they suffer as much as we did. karma will come to them
 
This is getting horrible day after day. My company has a shut down during the last week of this month. I am planning to stage a silent protest in front of hte office. Do you think there would be any potential dangers because of this?
 
We can write to Congressman and others

If you need we can write a letter to Congress man and Senator and who ever it is. For people who's case has been waiting for more than 6 months. My case was started in Jan 1998 ( with labor) and it is in SFO office for the 6 months. If you are interested, please contact me : lakshmi_mano2000@yahoo.com

It is better to send a group petition. I went to SFO office to renew my EAD without info pass, I was just treated by the women in the from door answering, like I am some kind of trash. Then I renewed it by Mail. I have to pick it up one of this days.

It is very Sad, they are heartless people.
 
My EAD expires in another two days. I applied an extension almost three months back but no answer yet. i can collect my interim ead only after a week after my current EAD expires. Will this be a problem during my 485 interview? will they see the gap in my EAD and question as to what I did during that time? Please help
