I Guess you are in queque to

get kicked out of this hell ;-). Seems like since your original attorney is not representing you any more, i guess they want to make sure everything is OK before granting GC. Normally you can appear interview on your own, if you want to play it safe, you can also hire an attorney to represent you at interview. anyways, good luck

Thanks Sri, I hope that is the case but I don't understand why they have transferred it to Philly instead of Houston where I live? It is strange but only reason I can think of is my labor was filled at Philly office and my original employer reside in PA.

Folks can you suggest what kind of documentation do I need to carry with me in case i need to invoke a AC-21 if in fact called for an interview to PA...I am getting nervous now

Cheers

Are you sure USCIS have your Houston address on their file? You may want to double check this. Normally they will not transfer to a local office; only service center transfer is justifiable due to backlog reduction drive.

My Case is similar to yours

Hi Shas123

My case was transferred to Pittsburgh, PA from VSC on March 13 2007.

The message said additional processing and not standard interview.

I live and work in Boston, MA but my company and labor is from Pittsburgh, PA.

I went for an infopass appointment, travelled from Boston to Pittsburgh, spending $300 and was told that they are reviewing my case and the lady refused to tell anything more.

She also asked few questions about my employment, and how come I live and work in Boston and how often I come to my company in Pittsburgh, and how I keep in touch with my supervisor (manager).

So I think if your company and labor is from a different state, and you work completely in a different state, they are doing additional review. Moreoever mine is a sub labor but I still work on the original employer who filed my I140.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the info, Insat123. It is rather odd that they are transferring cased just because are no longer a resident of where your labor originated. Any progress on your case after your appointment?

I regret big time not filling AC-21. Folks anybody in the similar state, can you file AC-21 while your case is being transferred to a local office for an interview?

Cheers
