case transferred to newark

hi Guys,
vermont telephone message changed to "case transfered to local ins office in newark, nj". anybody in a similar situation? how long before they call me for an interview? Anybody who recently interviewed, if they can post their details would be very helpful.

my case details rd 8/17/99, nd 9/6/99, transfer date 10/1/00. eb2,india

There are few gof us with the same situation. So far we have not come across anyone who had the interview at Newark. It is expected to take six to nine months but this is yet to be confirmed by the first person getting the interview letter.

BTW, Do you know any reasons for the transfer? Did you give change of address?

My case was transferred to the local office in Milwaukee. I did change my address to a different city (within the same county). I am not sure if this is what caused the transfer

Does change of address trigger "transfer to local office" situation ? I am planning to move next month within NJ...is all the cases of transfers because of move. Thanks

My case was transferred to the NYC local office. I didn\'t change address, whatsoever...
Any idea how long is the wait for an interview in NYC?
