Case transferred to New York Office.

Hi fellows, today I find out that my case is transferred to local (New York) office. Please respond if you are in similar boat. I would like to know how long does it take before they call you for an interview and what to expect in interview. I called INS customer service hot line and they said that it can take upto 24 months. I would like to sleep at nights so I want to ignore what they said. Cheers. And hope to hear from out there soon ...

It took somebody I know around 15 months to get an interview notice from the NJ office. I assume New York would be around the same.
 
Thanks, Khan for your quick response. It seems that VSC has continued to stick to its observed trend of transferring EB-1 and NIW cases for interviews.
