Hi Guys,

The Online message says as follows:

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On December 11, 2003, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in SAN JOSE, CA for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in SAN JOSE, CA will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Is this normal message or is it different from other transffered cases.

Thanks,

oldtsc,

I also lives in San Jose area (Sunnyvale). Where do you live to get transfer to San Jose office? I believe San Jose is much faster than San Francisco.

Have you contacted anybody like congressman for your case?

Thanks,

Hi Hopeful0820,

I also live in Sunnyvale area. No, I never approached anybody for my case, it is already two and half year old case. But what prompted them to transfer my case is still a question mark.

Thanks,

Friend -- I am not sure if you are reading this. San Jose and Dallas transfer cases are reporting swift interview dates, which kind of implies that they do treat transfer cases differently than the local office cases. Such being the case, what is wrong with ATL? Wanna share your thoughts???
