Case Transferred to INS, Pittsburg, PA ?

hi,

I received a notice today from VSC that says - ...in order to speed process this case has been
transferred to the following INS office : ...... Pittsburgh, PA.

I am not sure if this actually will help speed up the process, but I am hoping it will.
Has anyone received a similar message ? Please post your details / comments.

I\'m EB3.

I also just received the FL Notice.
Does anyone know if we can go earlier than the scheduled date for FP ?
The notice says that you could go on any Wednesday if the scheduled date
is not convenient.

EB3 Priority dates are not current how come your case is transferred as per your posting you have PD 8/7/97 and currently its 2/97 for
EB3. could pls correct your details as i believe you are from india , my PD 5/97 ND 9/99 for I-485 EB3/India.

Is your PD is Current according to INS its 2/97 for Eb3-india , if you are in EB2 then its another story

Yes, you can, I did it last Saturday (two weeks before the
scheduled date).

I am surprised that they transfer EB cases to Pittsburgh.
A month ago I talked to an officer there, and she told me
that they process only family-based cases there. That is
maybe changing now.

I am also in Pittsburgh, EB1, ND 10/99, FP 09/00.
