Updated on May 23, 2004 to 555-550 days
now on December 29, 2005 my wife recieved the notice the case has been transfered to California Service Centre for processing.
two days ago i called the USCIS service centre, they told me, they have recieved the petetion and it is taking between 990-999 days.i also checked the online status, and it is saying they recieved the petetion on January 16 2006 , it is taking between 990-999 days.

What is all this, can any one tell me..plss i m very worried, my wife is still a green card holder and i m in pakistan

my case was tranfered as well to california from texas what i would do is contac your local government because it takes so lone :) nothing you should worry about though :)

If you check the processing dates, CSC is currently processing I-130 for Jan 2005 for spouse of LPR. So you will get it adjudicated in 1 year with CSC. The notice is standard.

I-130 transferred to Califonia Service Center from Dallas

My husband is also a greencard holder and he filed my I-130 in April of 2001, he did recieve a notice stating that it was also transfered to Califonia Service center to SPEED up the process.......which i feel is ridiculous.......cuz the first letter in 2001 stated that this kind of case takes 990 - 999 days....so i really dont understand what they mean it was sent to Califonia to speed up the process cuz this is way overdue.....and this letter dated September 14th 2005 still states the same 990-999 days.

I was reading a statement bout Receipts Issued from the Califonia
Service Center and its suggesting that some customers may recieve a receipt or transfer notice from the (CSC) for cases filed at their district offices and that the approval notices will reflect the original filing (priority) date.

So he is just waiting for 180 days as the letter suggests before he inquires about this case cuz we too are very confused.
