Case Transfered to Newark and Teterboro on 10/18/01

Hi Every one
Let me ask you first, all you guys who transferd to Newark are hearing same message that your case has been transfered to Newark and Teterboro offices?. If yes, what is Teterboro and Newark, there should be only one office right?
my case has been transefred on 10/18/01 to Newark and Teterboro ( according to AVM). Recently they sent me RFE asking my paystubs and employer letter. I sent them, but now they transfered my case to local office.
Here are my details
ND:10/10/01
RFE: last week in September
Case transfered to local: 10/18/01
Nationality: Indian
Category: EB2

can you tell your opinions, I don\'t want your speculations, already I am depressed ( transferd to local after RFE)

Looks like you are the first in the line.
My RD/ND 11/20 and 12/9, TD 10/12,EB3 Country others, Russia. I heard the same message on AVM (Newark and Teteboro). My lawyer tell me wait, until transfer note is come, then start doing something.
So far no messages, no notices.

Yes, I hear the same message too.

My spouse\'s case was also transferred to Newark and teterboro office on Oct 16th while my case was approved. I am the primary applicant. New Rus and I are going to keep in touch so that we can exchange information on interview schedule etc.. If you are interested too, post your e-mail address.
 
By the way , don\'t worry!!!!

My laywer informed that unless and until you have a criminal record, they usually don\'t deny GC at interview. The reason for interview could be many- incorrect fingerprint or medical or just clarification on your paperwork, whether you are still working for same company or not. Based on past trends, Newark should call us for interview in another 2-3 weeks and schedule it maybe in 2-3 months.
 
According to the trend.

According to the trend everybody in Newark get 2 months of CIA check after interview. As far as I know, they passed interview, and after 2 months of CIA checks, they got approval.
 
Transferred to Newark

HI,
My case(including spouse and child) was transferred to newark on 10/11 after I replied to a RFE on 9/7. Received notice from INS regarding tranfer. Lawyer says I should be called for interview in 4-6 weeks.

Newark Interview .. SUCCESSFUL...

I-485 EB2 case transfered to Newark from CSC on 7/24/01.
Interview Letter received : 9/09/01
Interview Date: 10/19/01 at 9:40am, but called an hour late

APPROVED and Stamped the Passports for me , my wife and two kids.

Documents asked:
1. Police Conduct Certificates from the US jurisdictions I have stayed.(This was not mentioned in Interview notice, but I came to know that through IIO that I have FP problem)
2. Marriage Certificate(original)
3. Company sponsored Medical Insurance ( I did not take them as it was not mentioned in the interview notice. I told him Insurance cards are in my car and car is in parking place. He didn\'t insist)
4. Recent copies of paystubs and he kept them.
5. He asked for the Affidavit of Support. I told him that as per my Lawyer EB cases need to submit only Employment letter. But he asked me to mail them. I asked him if I can fill any form right there, he said NO.

7. Kids original Birth Certificates.
8.New Medicals ( as my medicals were of more than a year and along with interview notice I got new medical forms).

Officer was A nice young man, and I never felt any inconvenience except when he asked for the I-134. I got mentally prepared, a little bit upset thinking that he will not stamp the Pasports until I mail him the same.

After this he told me that looks everything fine, got up and said let me find out about this Affidavit of support. He went out and came back with a I-134 form and asked me if I have 2000 Tax return, which I have. He asked me to fill up the I-134 in Lobby and called us after 5-minutes, took my signature before him. Then he gave us the Stamped Passports.

I was really thrilled when we got the Passports stamped right away.

We are really happy and for all the future interview expectees, please take care of the documents I mentioned above.

I didn\'t have a Lawyer as they live in CA.

My lawyer got transfer notices.

My lawyer got transfer notices for me,my wife and child. TD 10/12/01.
Destination point: Newark. Notice not mention Teterboro at all.
On the transfer notice Newark INS phone number disconnected as usual.
My RD 11/01, ND 12/01.

Your lawyer will get the transfer notice in 2-3 weeks timeframe. Then Newark office will send out the interview date maybe in 1-2 months timeframe and the interview will be scheduled in another month\'s time. So based on past behaviour, you are looking at a time of 3-4 months for your interview to be conducted , if not sooner.

Nothing, for a long time.
2 Who gets transfer notice?
In my case it was lawyer. After 2 weeks. TD 10/12, notices arrived 10/23.
3.Who gets interview notice?
As far as I know copy to you, copy to lawyer.
4.What are the timeframes involved?
From the guys who passed the interview:
2-8 weeks since TD to interview notice.
2 weeks - 2.5 months from interview notice to interview.
Some guys got 2 months of CIA check after interview.
5.What is the correct phone number for Newark?
Nobody knows. If you know let us know.

could be reason for my transfer

Hi all
I went to get my advanced payroll for second time at Newark, but the photos which included in that application were not acceptable, because it was not showing my right ear completely. I included same photographs for 485 application. My lawyer is an asshole and the lady who took my pictures is also same thing. Because, I told that lady, these photo graphs are for GC, she said, she knows about that, that is waht they do at their studio. At lease lawyer was supposed to check before sending these pictures. So my strong belief is that.
Because for frind of mine, same thing happend at Baltimore, just because of potots.
