Case Transfered to Local INS Los Angeles, CA

My Case has transfered to local INS Los Angeles on 13th Jan 2003 and my Rd is Oct 2001

Do any one has any idea how much long, is it gona to get response from Local INS Office.

Do you know why your case was transferred?
Did you notify NSC about address/job change? According to Rupnet seems you didn't get rfe before transfer. That is a little strange. Thanks.
 
Nope, No address change or no Job Change.

I have to call the Local INS and get more information about my case and accordingly i shall update.

another LA transfer

Hi, our case were transfered to LA on Sep.6th,2002.Our RD is Sep.18,2001. No job change and address change. Don't know why they transfered our case. No LA public phone number, so there is no way to contact them except writing them a letter.

where do you live? we live in Chicago area. where are you originally from?Do you have any relationship with LA? The only thing we have with LA is that our attorney is located there. But can this be the reason they transfered our case to LA? Don't lose hope.We will get the green card sooner or later. Those INS guys have to come up with sth to torture you.
 
It is difficult to understand. You live and work in Chicago, filed your I-485 at NSC. Why the hell INS transfered your case to California? Wasn't that crazy if that was all because your attorny is in CA?
 
I have applied from Michigan as my company and Lawyer are based their and i am living in LA since 4.5 Years. So i guess i they have transferred to LA.

Same with me no address change, No job Change and only one thing is different from others is, I have applied my 485 first and then later applied my wife 485.

Have you guys married less than two years? This might be the primary reason why INS tranfer your case to local.

I am sort of sailing in same boat and last time I spoke to a
ayyayyo(IIO) my case was with an officer since Dec 17th.

FP Jul 30th,2002

Yes. I applied as singe and then got married and then included my wife in the application.

After how long did you received the notice and when did they schedule an interview at Local INS in LA. What are their Contats
